Videos

I have posted the occasional religion-related video on YouTube over the past year or two, and I have decided to give each of them a page on my website too. I had no idea when I posted them that they would be so popular, which is great, since I am a big fan of the Beeb’s “Outnumbered” and am very happy that so many people are getting to know about the show.

The downside of such popularity is that the comments for the videos are a mess, and tend to be either inconsequential (which is fine) or just plain rude (which is not). I have deleted some of the more offensive comments when I spotted them, but there doesn’t seem to be much point in trying to maintain order when the signal to noise ratio is so low.

So, if you want to engage in a more meaningful discussion on the videos—particularly related to atheism, agnosticism, or religion, then feel free to use one the following blog pages for the videos instead of YouTube. I am far more likely to respond to your comments here than there. But please keep it reasonably clean and polite.  I have no real interest in filling my blog with the same type of silliness that infects most of YouTube’s comment sections.

  • Karen’s Spiritual Journey

The adorable little Karen’s entertaining journey from belief to non-belief.

  • Hearing Voices

Rosie, a schizophrenic, compares notes with her vicar on hearing voices in this wonderful scene from the BBC comedy series “Jam and Jerusalem” (known as “Clatterford” in the USA).
